Terms of Service

General guidelines - 

  • Payment will be made before the product is sent

  • Pictures of WIPs will be sent upon completion and upon request at any point in the process.

  • All prices and/or estimates will be in USD unless otherwise specified.

  • Payment method will be agreed upon in advance.

  • Updates will be sent on request / throughout the process.

  • I reserve the right to post your commission(s) on other sites, with credit, unless agreed upon beforehand.

Terms of service - 

By commissioning me you are agreeing to the following terms - please read them before doing so!

  1. General terms

    1. Please be polite and courteous - have reference material and payment info ready.

    2. I have the right to refuse any commission for any reason.

  1. Payment

    1. You must pay a deposit of $30 before work is started on your book.

    2. Payment will be made through a custom listing on this website unless agreed upon beforehand.

    3. Full payment will be made once the book is completely, after pictures are sent but before shipment.

    4. Base prices are non-negotiable - the price of your commission may increase based on complexity.

    5. Custom orders final payment must be maid within a month of the purchase link being sent. If the book is not purchased it will be made available to the public for purchase.

  1. Process

    1. Pictures WIPs will be sent upon request at any point in the process.

    2. Edits can be made within reason.

    3. Deadlines are set on a case-by-case basis, if needed. Otherwise, an estimated turnaround will be given.

    4. If any outside events impact turnaround time, the commissioner will be notified as soon as possible.

  1. Cancellation / changes:

    1. A commission may be cancelled at any time before deposit payment - if you are cancelling because of changes needing to be made to the commission, let me know before doing so!

    2. You will not be refunded the $30 deposit if you cancel your book after it is paid.

    3. Refunds will not be issued after the full price has been paid and the book is sent to the commissioner.

    4. I have the right to cancel and refund your commission at any time. 

    5. Minor changes may be requested throughout the process, but larger edits or changes may add to the final price of the commission.

Examples of things that may be extra charges:

  • Specialty cover (expensive paper, fabric, etc…)

  • “Extras” such as bookmarks or inside pockets.

  • Fore edge painting.

  • Faster shipping.

  • Materials change when they have already been agreed upon and bought.

  • Specialty paper (45lb, 65lb, colored paper, etc…)

  • Any pages with printed material on them (reflection journals, DnD journals, lined paper, dot grid paper, pictures, etc…)
