Kate has received formal training in drawing, painting, graphic design and photography. She has lived and worked in many New England states since 2014 and is currently based in Southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

In 2019, Kate started concentrating her design skills on one-of-a-kind hand made books and journals. She uses a wide variety of materials and techniques to make each individual book a unique work of art. Her books have been sold on Etsy, Facebook and at Noon Design gift shop in Pawtuxet, Rhode Island. Custom books and journals are available through direct contact with the artist.

As of January 2021, Kate has taken Alley Cat Books on fulltime.
